Description
The New Advances in Inflammatory Bowel Disease conference will highlight the latest concepts in the diagnosis, treatment and management of Crohn's disease and colitis. The course will be taught by nationally known experts who not only treat patients in the clinical setting, but are also actively involved in various research projects aimed at continuously improving the treatment and management of IBD. Health care providers will be presented with the necessary context to integrate relevant information into their daily practice thereby improving quality of care for their afflicted patients.
The conference will also include a dedicated nursing track that will address disease complications, special population considerations, and surgical options as they apply to the continuum of care and the responsibility of the care team. A patient track designed and endorsed by the CCFA will also be open to all who are interested in learning more about living with Crohn's and colitis.
