Description
After two successful events in 2019 and 2021, it is our great pleasure to invite you to the third edition of the World Hospital at Home Congress WHAHC 2023 on 30 March – 1 April 2023 in beautiful Barcelona, Spain.
COVID-19 has influenced all of us as people and citizens, as well as professionals and health care providers. A lot of the impact of the pandemic was summarized during our WHAHC 2021 Virtual Congress, but we believe that meeting again in person will allow us to dive deeper into our lessons learned and conclusions for the future of HaH.
The event will focus on the hospital-at-home model which meets the urgent need for a cost-effective alternative to the standard inpatient treatment, the increased pressure on hospital beds, and patient-risk hospitalization. Scientific findings show that Hospital at Home services can provide cost-effective treatment to acutely ill patients, lowering expenditure, improving health outcomes, and increasing patient safety and satisfaction. Join us to:
- Be part of the only international forum on building an ongoing conversation and multidisciplinary collaboration in hospital-at-home (HaH) applications
- Exchange research and insights in HaH to explore future models and opportunities
- Discuss the challenges and achievements in HaH practices
- Evaluate the latest technology and homecare solutions in a dynamic exhibition
- Meet hundreds of international thought leaders and experts
This year we have more than 10 program tracks to focus on during our 3 days of unparalleled learning. Consider joining us if you're interested in the topics below:
